From August 30, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the LLC “Parvus” to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Korsha 1 HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From August 29, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of LLC “Parvus”, in the part of Korsha 1 HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From August 1, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered “Mestiachala Energy” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, (in part of Mestiachala 1 HPP) in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From August 1, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Svaneti Hydro” JSC as a Direct Consumer (in part of Mestiachala 1 HPP) and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From August 16, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Georgia Ferroalloys Co. Limited” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From August 15, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “E-Lux” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a Wholesale Supplier of Electricity, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
In July 2023, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 123 653 218.2 kWh, which represents 8% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 16 880 570.

In July, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 13.6044995 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 1.857 Tetri.
