Settlement Indicators of November 2016

In November 2016, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 106 484 672.1  kWh, which represents 16% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity have made up 17 138 104.4 GEL.

In November, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 10.6789665  Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was  11.303 Tetri/kWh. 

During the mentioned reporting period, the balancing electricity, purchased by ESCO, mainly, consisted of the electricity generated by the hpps and the tpps. The share of import in total volume of balancing electricity was 8%, the share of thermal power plants was 47%, whereas the share of hydro power plants was 45%.

In November, 2016, the distribution companies and the direct consumers bought the balancing electricity from ESCO. Their equity participation in balancing electricity purchase, respectively, was 95% and 4%. At the same time, in order to ensure the transit in November, the Dispatch Licensee, whose share in the purchase of balancing electricity was 1%, bought the losses.
