Settlement Indicators of November 2022

In November 2022, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 305 584 061.5 kWh, which represents 26% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 44 174 789.1.

In November  the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 14.4558551 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 13.049 Tetri.

During the mentioned reporting period, the balancing electricity, purchased by ESCO, mainly consisted of the electricity generated by TPP’s. The share of hydro power plants in total volume of balancing electricity was 39.3%, the share of wind farm 2.4%, the share of TPP’s – 52.3% and share of import – 6.0%.

In November 2022, the share of balancing electricity purchased by direct consumers from ESCO was 17.7% in total volume of balancing electricity. In November, the Dispatch Licensee bought balancing electricity to cover losses in the transmission network, whose share in the purchase of balancing electricity was 7.7%.
