In November 2024, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 490 315 212.4 kWh, which represents 42% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 75 957 772.

In November, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 15.4973755 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 12.713 Tetri.
During the mentioned reporting period, the balancing electricity, purchased by ESCO, mainly consisted of electricity generated by TPP’s. The share of hydro power plants in total volume of balancing electricity was 32%, the share of thermal power plants – 36%, the share of wind farm 1% and the share of import – 31%.

In November 2024, the share of balancing electricity purchased by direct consumers from ESCO was 3.7% in total volume of balancing electricity. In November, the Dispatch Licensee bought balancing electricity to cover losses in the transmission network, whose share in the purchase of balancing electricity was 2.5%.
