Settlement Indicators of April 2016
In April 2016, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 154 606 849.9 kWh, which represents 18% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity have made up 16 339 088.3 GEL.
In April, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 10.5682158 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 11.303 Tetri/kWh.
During the mentioned reporting period, the balancing electricity, purchased by ESCO, mainly, consisted of the electricity generated by the hpps. The share of import in total volume of balancing electricity was 16%, the share of thermal power plants was 14%, whereas the share of hydro power plants was 70%.
In April, 2016, the distribution companies and the direct consumers bought the balancing electricity from ESCO. Their equity participation in balancing electricity purchase, respectively, was 98.256% and 1.143%. During the same month the balancing electricity was exported and its share in balancing electricity purchase was 0.001%. At the same time, in order to ensure the transit, the Dispatch Licensee bought the losses, whose share in the purchase of balancing electricity was 0.6%.
In April, total amount of guaranteed capacity actually provided by the sources of guaranteed capacity was 14 851 130.00 GEL, whereas the guaranteed capacity fee payable per each consumed kWh by the guaranteed capacity buyer eligible enterprises was 2.0813 Tetri.
