Settlement Indicators of August 2016
In August 2016, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 30 348 692.7 kWh, which represents 3% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity have made up 3 033 031.54 GEL.
In August, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 9.9939446 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 1.17 Tetri/kWh.
During the mentioned reporting period, the balancing electricity, purchased by ESCO, mainly, consisted of the electricity generated by the hpps. The share of import in total volume of balancing electricity was 34%, the share of thermal power plants was 9%, whereas the share of hydro power plants was 57%.
In August, 2016, the distribution companies and the direct consumers bought the balancing electricity from ESCO. Their equity participation in balancing electricity purchase, respectively, was 86% and 13%. At the same time, in order to ensure the transit in August, the Dispatch Licensee, whose share in the purchase of balancing electricity was 1%, bought the losses
In July, total amount of guaranteed capacity actually provided by the sources of guaranteed capacity was 13 408 355.00 GEL, whereas the guaranteed capacity fee payable per each consumed kWh by the guaranteed capacity buyer eligible enterprises was 1.6426 Tetri.
