In June 2026, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 141 178 147.8 kWh, which represents 13% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 19 753 993.05.

From July 20, 2026, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Luk Energy” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as An Importer, Exporter and Wholesale Electricity Supplier, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
