In May 2025, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 266 417 568.9 kWh, which represents 20% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 36 190 716.4.

In May , the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 13.6303233 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 4.021 Tetri.
During the mentioned reporting period, the balancing electricity, purchased by ESCO, mainly consisted of the electricity generated by HPP’s. The share of hydro power plants in total volume of balancing electricity was 92%, the share of wind farm 3% and share of import – 5%.
