Alexander Papiashvili - appointed Deputy General Director of ESCO

Since September 28, 2022, Alexander Papiashvili has been appointed as the Deputy General Director of the Electricity Market Operator (ESCO). 

Alexander Papiashvili has an extensive experience in law, economics, and business management as well as participation in the process of the economic and investment policy of Georgia. He is aware of the prospects, challenges, and problems in the electricity industry in Georgia. 

As Deputy General Director of the Electricity Market Operator (ESCO), Alexander Papiashvili will oversee the functionally important issues and divisions of ESCO. His knowledge and professional skills are an important acquisition, both for the successful work and development of the Market Operator and for the formation of ESCO as a multifunctional and liquid link in the process of reforming the electric power system and the market mechanism.
