Meeting with Representatives of “Toyota Tsusho Corporation” and “Eurus Energy”

Deputy Director of the “Electricity Market Operator” Alexander Papiashvili met with representatives of “Toyota Tsusho Corporation” and “Eurus Energy”- Fumihiko Sato and Tomotaka Watanabe.

At the meeting, the parties reviewed the investment environment in Georgia, in particular investment opportunities and potential in the energy sector.

Representatives of "ESCO" acquainted the guests with the principles of operation of the existing market model, and also discussed the planned changes.

At the meeting, the Japanese side expressed interest in the development of wind farms in Georgia, on the other hand, ESCO representatives expressed their readiness to contribute to this process.
