Meeting with Representatives of "ENERGY CHINA"

General Director of the “Electricity Market Operator” Mr. Kakhaber Keburia and Deputy General Director Mr. Alexander Papiashvili met with ENERGY CHINA representatives Mr. Sun Jie and Mr. Chen Feng. 

ENERGY CHINA is one of the largest companies in the world, ranking 76th on the Fortune500 list in 2023. 

Kakhaber Keburia presented to the guests the principles of operation of the Electricity Market in Georgia, as well as investment opportunities and potential in the Energy Sector. 

At the meeting, the parties reviewed the general investment environment, legal framework and relevant provisions in Georgia, and also emphasized the close political and economic ties between the People's Republic of China and Georgia. 

Representatives of ENERGY CHINA expressed their interest in investing in the Georgian Energy Sector, on the other hand, ESCO representatives expressed their readiness to contribute to this process within their competence.
