Settlement Indicators of July 2016

In July 2016, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was   26 002 707.30 kWh, which represents 2% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity have made up 2 448 944.50 GEL.

In July, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up  9.2944467 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was  1.17 Tetri/kWh. 

During the mentioned reporting period, the balancing electricity, purchased by ESCO, mainly, consisted of the electricity generated by the hpps. The share of import in total volume of balancing electricity was 20%, the share of thermal power plants was 5%, whereas the share of hydro power plants was 75%.

In July, 2016, the distribution companies and the direct consumers bought the balancing electricity from ESCO. Their equity participation in balancing electricity purchase, respectively, was 86.4% and 11.2%. During the same month the balancing electricity was exported and its share in balancing electricity purchase was 2.4%.
 

In July, total amount of guaranteed capacity actually provided by the sources of guaranteed capacity was  13 871 741.00 GEL, whereas the guaranteed capacity fee payable per each consumed kWh by the guaranteed capacity buyer eligible enterprises was  1.5118 Tetri.
