ESCO hosted the business meetings with the specialists/experts of Energy Community, Slovenian Power Market Operator (BORZEN), Slovenian Power Exchange and the Association of European Energy Exchanges (EUROPEX)
In ESCO, two-day meetings were held related to the new model of electricity market, as part of technical support of the Energy Community.
The meetings were attended by the representatives of Energy Community, Slovenian Power Market Operator (BORZEN), Slovenian Power Exchange and the Association of European Energy Exchanges (EUROPEX). They will study the current situation and prepare a recommendation document for Georgia for the operation of electricity market, taking into account the best European practices and features of our market.
At the meetings, the experts discussed the current situation in Georgian Electricity Market and prospects for the development of the market in accordance with the requirements of the new energy bill. Within the framework of the visit, the meetings were also held with the representatives of various companies and agencies, including the Deputy Ministers of Economy and Finance.
Within the framework of technical assistance, intensive work was also planned between ESCO and invited experts to develop an effective scheme for developing the market and the Company's capacity building.
