From November 28, 2025, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of LLC “Kakheti Solar”, in the part of Gamarjveba Solar Power Plant, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
ESCO, in partnership with the World Bank, held a consultative meeting and discussion on the implementation of modern cybersecurity standards for energy companies.
On 28 November, the Electricity System Commercial Operator (ESCO) and the World Bank’s Energy Practice jointly organized a consultative and informational meeting-discussion on the topic: “Obtaining a Cybersecurity / Information Security Certificate and Related Discussions for Energy Agencies.” The Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mrs. Inga Pkhaladze, donor partners, representatives of energy companies, and members of both the public and private sectors, attended the event.
From November 22, 2025, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the LLC “El Hub” to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Kaspi Solar Power Plant, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From November 21, 2025, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of LLC “El Hab“, in the part of Kaspi Solar Power Plant, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From November 19, 2025, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the LLC “Alazani Solar” to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Jugaani Solar Power Plant, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From November 18, 2025, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of LLC “Alazani Solar”, in the part of Jugaani Solar Power Plant, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
In October 2025, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 238,152,339.2 kWh, which represents 21% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 37,758,911.

In October, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 15.8550058 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 11.677 Tetri.
On 6 November, the General Director of the Electricity Market Operator (ESCO), Mr. Tornike Kazarashvili, took part in the Georgia Energy Exhibition and Forum “GEEF-2025”. The session was held under the theme “From Strategy to Action – The Role of Supportive Regulations in the Development of Renewable Energy”.
From November 1, 2025, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the LLC “Kasleti 1” to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Kasleti 1 HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From October 31, 2025, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of LLC “Kasleti 1”, in the part of Kasleti 1 HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
