In March 2026, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 444 398 911.1 kWh, which represents 34% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 68 370 354.35

In March, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 15.425031382 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 11.679 Tetri.
From April 6, 2026, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Parvus Basra” LLC (in the part of Basra 2 HPP) to take part in the wholesale trade as Power Plant - During The Test Run And/Or Complex Testing, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From April 4, 2026, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Chiora Hesi” LLC (in the part of Chiora HPP) to take part in the wholesale trade as Power Plant - During The Test Run And/Or Complex Testing, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From April 3, 2026, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of LLC “Chiora Hesi“, in the part of Chiora HPP, as a Direct Consumer and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
The databases for June-September 2025 were corrected, as a result the amount of guaranteed capacity purchased by qualified enterprises was changed, as well as the Weighted Average Price of the balancing electricity in August 2025 was changed and it has made up 16.6593894 Tetri per kWh.
From March 13, 2026, the Electricity Market Operator has registered “Electricity Provider” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a free supplier, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.

From March 02, 2026, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Zemo Wind” LLC (in the part of Zemo Wind Power Plant) to take part in the wholesale trade as Power Plant - During The Test Run And/Or Complex Testing, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From February 19, 2026, the Electricity Market Operator has registered “Domein Svanidze” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From February 18, 2026, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “VRG Trading” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a Wholesale Supplier of Electricity, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
