In March 2024, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 396 611 747.4 kWh, which represents 33% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 61 919 776.

In March , the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 15.6121892 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 18.643 Tetri.
The revised contractual application form, ratified on April 3, 2024, has been modified in accordance with Clause 4 of Sub-clause 8 of Ministerial Decree No. 77, issued by the Minister of Energy of Georgia on August 30, 2006, concerning the "Approval of the Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules" endorsed by JSC “Commercial Operator of the Electric System” and JSC “Georgian State Electrosystem.”....
From April 3, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “RMG Gold” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
