From March 1, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “ID Synergy” LLC as a Wholesale Supplier of Electricity and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
In January 2024, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 396 344 163.3 kWh, which represents 30% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 61 522 478.4.

In January, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 15.5224888 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 18.581 Tetri.
From February 09, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Exim Group” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From February 5, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Free Supplier” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a Free Supplier of Electricity, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
In December 2023, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 304 174 189 kWh, which represents 27% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 44 578 526.

In November, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 14.6555913 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 12.017 Tetri.
From January 9, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Synergy Trader” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a Wholesale Supplier of Electricity, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From December 21, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Mestischala Energy” LLC (in the part of Mestiachala 1 HPP) to take part in the wholesale trade as a Generation Licensee in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From December 20, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Mestiachala Energy” LLC, in the part of Mestiachala 1 HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
