From December 1, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered “Udabno” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From November 27, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Parvus” LLC (in the part of Toloshi HPP) to take part in the wholesale trade as Power Plant - During The Test Run And/Or Complex Testing, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.

In October 2023, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 264 729 584 kWh, which represents 26% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 39 715 783.

In October, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 15.0023972 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 11.733 Tetri.
Mr. Kakhaber Keburia, General Director of ESCO, participated in the session and workshop supported by USAID's Energy Futures Program and organized by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Parliament of Georgia.

From October 26, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “TFZ Services” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From October 26, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “ID Synergy” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Wholesale Electricity Supplier, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
The Electricity System Commercial Operator has joined a student internship program that will place high-achieving students in internships at ESCO.
The aim of the program is that students with high academic performance from five state universities will undergo one-year paid internships in energy companies managed by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, with the right to further employment.
Mr. Kakhaber Keburia, Director General of the Electricity System Commercial Operator together with his deputies participated in the conference dedicated to the day of establishment of the National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission of Georgia.
First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mr. Romeo Mikautadze addressed the conference.
