From October 7, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Kodori” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a Wholesale Supplier of Electricity, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From September 18, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has registered “Data Rules Service” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From September 17, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Data Hub” LLC as a Direct Consumer and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From September 28, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Biji Treidi” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Shevaburi HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From September 27, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Biji Treidi” LLC, in the part of Shevaburi HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From September 28, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the „Georgian Investment Group Energy“ LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Generation Licensee, (in part of khobi 2 HPP) in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules” .
From September 25, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the „INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT COMPANY 2006“ LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as an importer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From October 1, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “KSM EXSPORT-IMPORT” LLC as an importer, exporter and a wholesale supplier of electricity and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From September 21, 2024, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Georgian Investment Group Energy” LLC (in the part of Khobi 2 HPP), as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
In August 2024, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 195 428 280.5 kWh, which represents 14% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 30 241 448.

In August, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 15.4741741 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 2.412 Tetri.
