ESCO meeting with representatives of the German Economic Team (GET)
Mr. Alexander Papiashvili, Deputy General Director of the Electricity System Commercial Operator, together with Mrs. Tamar Tsurtsumia, Head of the International and Investors Relations Department, and Mrs. Anna Tomaradze, Head of the Legal Department, met with the German Economic Team (GET), an organization established by the German Ministry of Economy and Climate, to discuss the preparatory works of the submarine electric cable project planned in the Black Sea.
GET is an organization engaged in economic research in various fields. The current topic of their research is the planned submarine electric cable project between Georgia and Romania in the Black Sea. GET is preparing a presentation and a study that will present the economic opportunities and challenges of the project.
At the meeting held in ESCO, GET representatives presented the results of the study to the Georgian side, discussed the current situation, and discussed the further prospects of the study.
