From March 28, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Bookup Solutions” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as exporter, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
In February 2023, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 222 151 787.0 kWh, which represents 19% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 32 111 460.

In February, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 14.4547384 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 11.506 Tetri.
From March 10, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “GTM Group” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Korsha HPP, Roshka 1 HPP, Roshka 2 HPP and Roshka 3 HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From March 9, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of LLC “Parvus Group”, in the part of Korsha HPP, Roshka 1 HPP, Roshka 2 HPP and Roshka 3 HPP as a Small Power Plant and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From March 6, 2023, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “EAAC” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as exporter, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.

A joint business meeting of ESCO management and the representatives of the company MERCADOS and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) was held at the ESCO office.
The meeting discussed the planning of a foreign company's work on the use of energy-accumulating batteries in Georgia. The project, if implemented, can play an important role in ensuring the stable functioning of the Georgian energy system.

From November 1, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered “Goldingen” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From October 31, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “GEO Maintenance” LLC as a Direct Consumer and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
