From May 13, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Svaneti Hydro” JSC as a Generation Licensee and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
rom May 31, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Power Trading Company” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Exporter, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From May 19, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Hydroenergy” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Akhatani HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From May 18, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Hydroenergy” LLC, in the part of Akhatani HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From May 17, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Marjani-5” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From May 17, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “GRPC Trade” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a Wholesale Supplier of Electricity, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
In April 2022, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 354 870 771.8 kWh, which represents 30% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 59 627 017.9.

In April the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 16.8028386 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 13.854 Tetri.
From May 11, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the LLC “Chordula HPP” to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Chordula HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From May 10, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of LLC “Chordula HPP”, in the part of Chordula HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
