In June 2022, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 133 224 660 kWh, which represents 9% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 19 160 730.5.

In June the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 14.3760935 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 1.857 Tetri.
From July 2, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Coca-Cola Bottlers Georgia” JSC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From July 1, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Aquaenergy Georgia” LTD (In part of Tbilisi Sea HPP) as a Small Power Plant and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From July 1, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Orba 2008” LTD (In part of Zvareti HPP) as a Small Power Plant and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From July 1, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of Rustav-hesi LTD (In part of Rustavi HPP) as a Small Power Plant and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From June 17, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Protech Corporation” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From June 16, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Huan Hy Energy” JSC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.

From June 13, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Svaneti Hydro” JSC to take part in the wholesale trade as Exporter, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
