From November 2, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the LLC “Aisi” to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Akhalkalaki 1 HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From November 1, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of LLC “Aisi”, in the part of Akhalkalaki 1 HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant
From October 26, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Energy Solutions” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as an importer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From October 26, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Energy Solutions” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as an exporter, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
In September 2022, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 189 969 040.5kWh, which represents 16% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 28 800 215.

In September the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 15.1532407 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 8.613 Tetri.
From October 7, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Dila” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a Wholesale Supplier of Electricity, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
Since September 28, 2022, Alexander Papiashvili has been appointed as the Deputy General Director of the Electricity Market Operator (ESCO).
Alexander Papiashvili has an extensive experience in law, economics, and business management as well as participation in the process of the economic and investment policy of Georgia. He is aware of the prospects, challenges, and problems in the electricity industry in Georgia.
On September 21 this year the JSC "Electricity System Commercial Operator" announced an electronic tender NAT 220019392 for the purchase of life, accident, and health insurance (CPV 66500000) for three employees of the company. The estimated cost of one insurance package is GEL 67, and the maximum period for the provision of the service is December 31, 2022, inclusive. Accordingly, the estimated cost of the tender is within GEL 603.
The deadline for submitting tender proposals is September 29 of the current year until 13:00.

From September 8, 2022, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Energy Trading Group” LLC to take part in the wholesale trade as a Wholesale Supplier of Electricity, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
