In December 2020, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 249 143 237.40 kWh, which represents 20% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 39 202 819.4.

In December, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 15,7376184 TetriTetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 12.304 Tetri.
From January 01, 2021, is cancelled the registration of “Prime Legal” Ltd as an Importer, Exporter and Wholesale Supplier by the Electricity Market Operator and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From January 01, 2021, is cancelled the registration of “COINMANIA” Ltd as an Importer, Exporter and Wholesale Supplier by the Electricity Market Operator and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From December 26, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “ENERGY DEVELOPMENT GEORGIA” LTD (in the part of “SASHUALA 1” HPP) to take part in the wholesale trade as Power Plant - During The Test Run And/Or Complex Testing, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From December 16, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “POWER TRADING COMPANY” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as electricity wholesale supplier, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
In November 2020, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 272 821 564.60 kWh, which represents 26% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 45 383 317.80

From December 01, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “DATA HUB” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.

From October 17, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “AUSTRIAN GEORGIAN DEVELOPMENT” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of “LAKHAMI 1” HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From October 16, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “AUSTRIAN GEORGIAN DEVELOPMENT” LTD, in the part of LAKHAMI 1 HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
