From April 01, 2021, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the „ZESTAFONI FERROALLOYS PLANT” JSC to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
In March 2021, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 373 904 107,5 kWh, which represents 30% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 62 480 780.

In March, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 16,7103755 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 12.304 Tetri.
From April 15, 2021, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “CROSS BORDER TRADE” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as exporter, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From March 25, 2021, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “ADJARISTSQALI GEORGIA” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of “SKHALTA” HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From March 24, 2021, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “ADJARISTSQALI GEORGIA” LTD, in the part of SKHALTA HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From March 16, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “DM ENERGY” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of “DVIRULA” HPP, in accordance with the "Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules"
From March 15, 2021, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “DM ENERGY” LTD, in the part of DVIRULA HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.

From April 01, 2021, will be cancelled the registration of “ENERGIA X” Ltd as an Importer, Exporter and Wholesale Supplier by the Electricity Market Operator and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From February 22, 2021, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “DM ENERGY” LTD (in the part of “DVIRULA” HPP) to take part in the wholesale trade as Power Plant - During The Test Run And/Or Complex Testing, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
