From September 24, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “KEYSTONE CONSULTING” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as importer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From September 22, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “ACHAR ENERGY-2007” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as electricity wholesale supplier, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.

From September 01, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CORPORATION OF GEORGIA" LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of “Tkibuli Thermal Power Plant”, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From September 01, 2020, the registration of “SAKNAKHSHIRI” LTD (in the part of “Tkibuli Thermal Power Plant”) as Small Power Plant is cancelled by the Electricity Market Operator and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
In August 2020, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 253 174 525.7 kWh, which represents 26% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 39 153 431.8.

In August, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 15.4649966 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 1.358 Tetri.
