From August 18, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “AUSTRIAN GEORGIAN DEVELOPMENT” LTD, in the part of LAKHAMI 2 HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
In July 2020, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 222 839 416.0 kWh, which represents 22% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricityhasmade up GEL 33 503 176.2.

In June, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 15.0346724 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 1.358 Tetri.
From July 28, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “AUSTRIAN GEORGIAN DEVELOPMENT” LTD (in the part of “LAKHAMI” HPP) to take part in the wholesale trade as Power Plant - During The Test Run And/Or Complex Testing, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
In June 2020, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 209 226 528.6 kWh, which represents 21% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 28 089 499.4.

From July 02, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “ELECTRA GEORGIA” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as electricity wholesale supplier, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From July 02, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “ELECTRA GEORGIA” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as importer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From July 02, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “ELECTRA GEORGIA” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as exporter, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From June 26, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “GEORGIAN ENERGY TRADING COMPANY” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as exporter, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
In May 2020, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 250 051 710.2 kWh, which represents 27% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity have made up GEL 33 026 012.4.
