From February 05, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “MG Renewables” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Dzama HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From February 04, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “MG Renewables” LTD, in the part of Dzama HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.

From January 29, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “AAD” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Chapala HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From January 28, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “AAD” LTD, in the part of Chapa HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
ESCO made correction to the unified settlement bases for 2017-2019 reporting periods. This led to a change in the Weighted Average Tariffs for Balancing Electricity, which ESCO should sell.
On January 21, 2020, an electronic tender NAT200001549 was announced for the amount of 80 410.0 GEL for the renewal of various licenses (CPV 48600000). The deadline for submission of the tender proposal ends January 29, 2020 at 12:00.
From January 16, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “MG Renewables” Ltd (in the part of Dzama HPP) to take part in the wholesale trade as Power Plant - During The Test Run And/Or Complex Testing, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
In December 2019, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 299 370 865.5 kWhkWh, which represents 25% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity have made up GEL 44 096 512.

In December, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 14.7297273Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 12.304 Tetri.
From January 10, 2020, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “AQUA HYDRO” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of Khelra HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
