From January 18, 2017, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Marneulhesi 1931” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From January 17, 2017, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Marneulhesi 1931” LTD as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
In December 2016, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 256 314 929 kWh, which represents 22% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity have made up 28 785 187.6 GEL.

In December, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 11.2303984 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 11.303 Tetri/kWh.
From January 11, 2017, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Kaskad Georgia” Ltd to take part in the wholesale trade as exporter, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”

From December 30, 2016, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Dariali Energy” JSC to take part in the wholesale trade as a generation licensee, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules” .
From December 29, 2016, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Dariali Energy” JSC as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From December 22, 2016, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Agroenergy” Ltd to take part in the wholesale trade as small power plant, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules” .
From December 21, 2016, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “Water Energy” Ltd as a small power plant in the part of Kazreti Hesi and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
The ESCO’s selling price for Balancing Electricity has changed as a result of corrections introduced to the settlement bases for January, March, June, July, August and October 2016.
