On March 3, the Hotel "Ambasadori Kachreti" in Kakheti hosted the workshop for the ESCO managers and the representatives of USAID's contractor companies (HICD 2020 and GEC). The workshop was dedicated to the presentation of the activity report of the Project “Development of Human and Institutional Capacity” as well as to the planning of future activities of the project aimed at the development of ESCO’s human resources.
Business meeting with the World Bank representatives: Mr. Joseph Melitauri (Senior Operations Officer, Europe & Central Asia Region Energy & Extractives Global Practice) and Mr. Nodar Mosashvili (Financial Consultant) was held at the office of ESCO. Number of issues about the ESCO’s financial performance and related forecast were discussed, as the ESCO’s financial stability is an important factor for the World Bank in terms of investments in this field.
In February 2017, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 336 372 176.6 kWh, which represents 33% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity have made up 45 518 563.6 GEL.

In February, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 13.5322024 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 14.234 Tetri/kWh
On March 09, 2017, Simplified Electronic Tender (NAT 170002371) has been announced on purchase of stationery goods, which cost GEL 2 930 (VAT excluded). The deadline for bidding is on March 15, 2017, at 17:00.
