ESCO Participates in the GRC 2025 World Forum in Dubai

The Electricity Market Operator, led by its General Director, Tornike Kazarashvili, took part in the GRC 2025 World Forum held in Dubai.

The Forum brings together global leading companies and stakeholders in the fields of risk management, governance, cybersecurity, and compliance with modern international GRC standards.

This year’s event focused on AI-driven risk management, digital resilience, data protection, and international best practices and innovations for modern GRC systems. The Dubai International Financial Centre and Academy (DIFC) hosted the Forum.

ESCO, in cooperation with the World Bank and following extensive measures taken in the field of cybersecurity, has become the first Georgian energy company to receive the ISO 27001 certification for information security management.

Alongside the General Director, ESCO was represented at the Forum by members of the Information Technology Department and staff actively involved in the practical implementation of international cybersecurity standards at ESCO, working together with the World Bank’s Energy Mission.
