Energy Workers’ Day 2026

The Director General of the Electricity Market Operator of Georgia (ESCO), Tornike Kazarashvili, together with his deputies, attended a festive event dedicated to Energy Workers’ Day.

Georgian energy workers were congratulated on their professional day by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, and the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili. During the event, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development ceremonially awarded 16 outstanding energy professionals.

Among the awardees was Mikheil Abashmadze, Deputy Head of ESCO’s Analysis, Monitoring and Forecasting Department.

ESCO is delighted to congratulate Mikheil Abashmadze on being awarded the honorary title of “Merited Energy Worker of Georgia.

The event was attended by representatives of the executive, legislative and local authorities, as well as representatives of energy companies.
