The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mrs. Natia Turnava officially introduced Mr. Zaza Dvalishvili as Acting General Director of ESCO.

Mr. Zaza Dvalishvili was appointed as Acting Director of the Electricity Market Operator.

Today, Mrs. Natia Turunava, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, and Mr. David Tvalabeishvili, Deputy Minister of Economy, visited ESCO. Mrs. Natia Turnava presented Mr. Zaza Dvalishvili as Acting General Director of ESCO. She also thanked the former ESCO Director General, Mr. Vakhtang Amboakadze, for many years of successful work in the energy sector and at the rank of Head of the Electricity Market Operator, and wished further success in the new field - in the private sector.

“Mr. Zaza Dvalishvili will be an experienced and competent manager for ESCO. In a difficult and interesting period of deregulation and reform of the electricity market we are expecting successful operation of ESCO and hope for further cooperation. Looking forward to the progress and new ideas. It is important for us that experience and professionalism are in agreement and serve the Country,” - said the Minister.

Mr. Zaza Dvalishvili had worked as a deputy general director of ESCO since 2007.
