In February 2026, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 496,720,974.2 kWh, which represents 40% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 73,821,628.

In February , the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 14.8936635 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 11.614 Tetri.

During the mentioned reporting period, the balancing electricity, purchased by ESCO, mainly consisted of the electricity generated by TPP’s. The share of hydro power plants in total volume of balancing electricity was 31.7%, the share of wind farm 1.3%, the share of TPP’s – 37.3% and share of import – 29.7%.

In February 2026, the share of balancing electricity purchased by direct consumers from ESCO was 7.0% in total volume of balancing electricity.
