In June 2026, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 141 178 147.8 kWh, which represents 13% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity has made up GEL 19 753 993.05.

In June, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 14.099353910 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 4.021 Tetri.
During the mentioned reporting period, the balancing electricity, purchased by ESCO, mainly consisted of the electricity generated by HPP’s. The share of hydro power plants in total volume of balancing electricity was 86.6%, the share of thermal power plants – 1.1%, the share of wind farm 2.5%, the share of solar power plants 0.7% and share of import – 9.1%.

In June 2026, the share of balancing electricity purchased by direct consumers from ESCO was 34% in total volume of balancing electricity. In June, the Dispatch Licensee bought balancing electricity to cover losses in the transmission network, whose share in the purchase of balancing electricity was 15%.
