In January 2019, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 277 626 670.0 kWh, which represents 24% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity have made up GEL 37 575 306.41.

In January, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 13.5344729 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 10.614 Tetri.
On January 30, 2019, the Electronic Tender NAT 190002037 was announced on purchase of stationery goods, which cost GEL 718. The deadline for bidding is on February 07, 2019, at 13:00.
From January 28, 2019, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “BFDC Georgia” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as importer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From January 21, 2019, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “ENERGO-ARAGVI” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of “Aragvi 2” HPP, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From January 20, 2019, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “ENERGO-ARAGVI” LTD, in the part of Aragvi 2 HPP, as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
In December 2018, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 348 584 006.1 kWh, which represents 29% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity have made up GEL 48 964 320.6.

In December, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 14.0466343 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 11.248 Tetri.
From December 14, 2018, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the JSC "ENERGO-PRO GEORGIA GENERATION" to take part in the wholesale trade as a Generation Licensee in the part of ZAHESI, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From December 14, 2018, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of JSC “ZAHESI” as a Generation Licensee (In a part of Zahesi HPP) and Small Power Plant (In a part of Chkhorotskuhesi and Kinkishahesi HPPs) and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
From December 14, 2018, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the JSC "ENERGO-PRO GEORGIA GENERATION" to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant in the part of CHKHOROTSKUHESI and KINKISHAHESI, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
