The Director-General of the Electricity System Commercial Operator, Kakhaber Keburia, embarked on a business trip to China, visiting the cities of Shanghai and Shenzhen.
The visit was arranged by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., one of the world's foremost technical companies, renowned for its involvement in telecommunication network establishment, operational and consultancy services, as well as the production of technical equipment and communication mechanisms.
The primary objective of the trip was to explore potential collaboration opportunities with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. in the energy sector. The focus was on innovative solutions, the latest digital technologies within the industry, opportunities for personnel data security, new energy production mechanisms, the development of renewable energy sources, the integration of cutting-edge technologies, and related consultations.
The meetings and insights gained during this productive visit to China have delineated promising avenues for cooperation between the Georgian energy sector and this global Chinese technology giant.
Accompanying the Director-General of the Electricity System Commercial Operator were representatives from the Georgian Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission, along with leaders and managers from the Georgian State Electricity System, further enhancing the collaborative efforts during the business trip to China.
