ESCO and “Achar Energy 2007” LLC have Signed the Contract

The Electricity Market Operator and “Achar Energy 2007” LLC have signed the Guaranteed Power Purchase Contract on March 28, 2017.

“Achar Energy 2007” LLC built 47.48 MW installed capacity Khelvachauri I Hydro Power Plant in Georgia, Adjara Region. Power Plant began exploitation from  March 24, 2017.

According to the current legislation, the Market Operator shall sign the direct contract on purchase of power, generated by the newly constructed power plant, under the conditions agreed between the Government of Georgia, the Market Operator and the person concerned.
