The Memorandum of Understanding to be Signed between the Millennium Challenge Fund, San Diego State University and the Ministry of Energy with the Participation of ESCO

On June 10, at 14:00, Mr. Kakha Kaladze, Vice Prime Minister Georgia and Minister of Energy, Ms. Magda Maghradze, CEO of Millennium Challenge Fund and Mr. Ken Walsh, Dean of San Diego State University in Georgia will sign the Memorandum of Understanding at the Radisson Hotel (Tbilisi). The MoU signatories are the largest energy companies operating in the energy sector: JSC “Electricity Market Operator", JSC “Georgian State Electric System”, Ltd Company "Energotrans", JSC "Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation" and JSC "Energo-Pro Georgia".

The Memorandum is aimed at creating the platform of co-operation between the largest companies operating in the energy sector, the Ministry of Energy, the Millennium Challenge Fund and San Diego State University. The Memorandum provides for the cooperation and participation of San Diego State University students and alumni in the work of the companies involved in the sphere of the Ministry of Energy and the Energy Sector.

During the event, Minister of Energy will meet with the students of San Diego State University in Georgia, as well as visit the Employment and Training Forum, where the largest companies operating in Georgia will meet for the purpose of offering the internships and future employment to the students of San Diego State University.
