Please be informed, that changes to the Standard Conditions of Direct Contract on selling Balancing Electricity, to the Standard Conditions of Direct Contract on purchasing Balancing Electricity, to the Standard Conditions of Contract on selling Guaranteed Capacity and to the Standard Conditions of Contract on purchasing Guaranteed Capacity made by the the Decisions N61/16, N61/17, N61/18, N61/19 of 26 July 2018 of Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission have been registered by Dispatch Licensee in accordance with the legislation.
Please be informed, that the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission made changes to the Standard Conditions of Direct Contract on selling Balancing Electricity, to the Standard Conditions of Direct Contract on purchasing Balancing Electricity, to the Standard Conditions of Contract on selling Guaranteed Capacity and to the Standard Conditions of Contract on purchasing Guaranteed Capacity according to the Decisions of N61/16, N61/17, N61/18, N61/19 of 26 July 2018.
From July 28, 2018, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “KASLETI 2” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as a Small Power Plant, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From July 27, 2018, the Electricity Market Operator has cancelled the registration of “KASLETI 2” LTD as a Power Plant - During the Test Run and/or a Comprehensive Testing and in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”, it is no more considered as a wholesale trade participant.
On July 24, 2018, the electronic tender (NAT180011401) was announced on purchase of printing devices (cartridges and toners). Their declared tender price is GEL 3 000 (excluding VAT) and the deadline for bidding is on August 1, 2018, at 13:30.
In ESCO, two-day meetings were held related to the new model of electricity market, as part of technical support of the Energy Community.
The meetings were attended by the representatives of Energy Community, Slovenian Power Market Operator (BORZEN), Slovenian Power Exchange and the Association of European Energy Exchanges (EUROPEX). They will study the current situation and prepare a recommendation document for Georgia for the operation of electricity market, taking into account the best European practices and features of our market.
As part of the modernization and reform of Georgian Electricity Market and the existing electricity trading model, ESCO's representatives have traveled together with the delegation from “G4G”, Georgia Customs and GSE to the Capital City of Serbia - Belgrade on a business trip, organized by USAID. The purpose of this business trip was to familiarize the Georgian delegation with the Serbian model of Customs’ procedures and clearance of cross-border trade of electricity.
From July 13, 2018, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “Kutaisi Investments” LTD to take part in the wholesale trade as Direct Customer, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
From July 12, 2018, the Electricity Market Operator has registered the “KASLETI 2” LTD (in the part of “Kasleti 2” HPP) to take part in the wholesale trade as Power Plant - During The Test Run And/Or Complex Testing, in accordance with the “Electricity (Capacity) Market Rules”.
In June 2018, the quantity of balancing electricity, purchased (sold) through ESCO was 46 784 986.5 kWh,
which represents 4% of total delivery to the grid in mentioned month. The cost of balancing electricity have made up GEL 5 939 770.

In June, the Weighted Average Price of balancing electricity per kWh made up 12.6958890 Tetri, while the price of balancing electricity of the deregulated hydro power plants was 1.818 Tetri/kWh.
